Supporting the Boys & Girls Club of the Peninsula

We made a donation of standing desks and chairs to the Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula, which empowers youth with equitable access to social, academic and career opportunities to thrive. 🚀 Fun fact: We not only deliver these items to our nonprofit partners free of charge but we also assemble the items for them too! 🛠️ And in addition to tech donations like laptops and monitors — we also source and donate furniture to equip community spaces with the aim of helping people reach their goals and potential.

Their vision is for all youth to grow up to lead fulfilling lives fueled by their passions, talents, and a love of learning, and we’re so heartened by the great work they do in the community.

Many in Silicon Valley are enjoying unprecedented levels of growth and wealth — and at the same time, that prosperity isn’t being experienced by all. In the neighborhoods they serve, “25% of students are homeless or in foster care, only 7% of students have a parent who attended college and 80% are English language learners. These students don’t have access to the same opportunities as youth in adjacent neighborhoods and as a result, they struggle to achieve school success.” (Source: bgcp.org)
